HOPE

CIRKO Sat 12.9. & Sun 13.9. 50 min

HOPE is Heidi Miikki’s vertical dance work, exploring the power of hope, activism and community through gravity-defying movement.

Heidi Miikki’s vertical dance piece HOPE is about radical and active hope and the courage to dream. What would happen if we all wished for something at the same time? Through movement and text, the themes of action, hope and hopelessness, activism, and the power of community and the individual are explored. Combining circus and dance, the acrobatic vertical dance defies gravity and takes the dance to the walls and into the air, combined with text and honest presence.
