Kajo is a wordless and visually enchanting circus performance for the whole family, about friendship, the search for lost light, and the beauty of being different.

Kajo takes the audience on an exhilarating journey in search of friendship and lost light. The wordless, visually beautiful and touching performance tells the story of encountering differences. All of the funny circus director’s friends have disappeared. While searching for them, together with a shy and mysterious friend, surprises happen and we move through imaginative worlds. The hilarious performance is suitable for anyone who has ever lost their light and found it again.

The circus and music association Agit-Cirk was founded in 2005. The group’s high-quality, cross-artistic performances have been seen in over 20 different countries. The company strives to take the circus to new audiences, unusual places and occasions. Original founders of the company are Sakari Männistö, Marjo Ylikorva and Samuli Jokinen.

Agit-Cirk has organized the Esse summer festival since 2021.
